Autorickshaw Quintet at the Aga Khan Museum

Mixing genres and defying expectations, the Canadian ensemble Autorickshaw incorporates contemporary jazz, funk, and folk elements with the classical and popular music of India. The group’s capacity to break new ground has earned it a number of honours, including a John Lennon Songwriting Competition Grand Prize in World Music and the Touring Artist of the Year Award (both 2008).
