South Asian jazz fusion seekers, Autorickshaw, join forces with modern string music explorers, the Penderecki Quartet, for a set of subtle and satisfying East-West musical merging. Centred on the engaging vocals of Suba Sankaran the whole group of vituosic players takes the colour palette of each group and simply blows it to infinity. They perform several Autorickshaw pieces in new arrangements, plus music by Leonard Cohen and Glenn Buhr. This concert was recorded at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario at the end of a short tour the groups did together.
